We were fortunate to be able to purchase Tuff as a weanling from the Frontier Ranch in Washington.
He has a beautiful head, long neck, big hip, great gaskin muscling and straight legs. He consistently stamps his offspring with his good looks and exceptional minds. Tuff has produced point earners and futurity winners in both the Appaloosa and Quarter Horse breeds. Tuff's offspring have all been very willing and cooperative during all stages of training. Anyone that has owned or worked with a Tuff baby always comment on how well they break out. With Tuff as a sire, you will be able to produce the good working horses that have the ability to go in almost any direction.
Tuff was started under saddle by Tanya (then 15) in the fall as a three year old because she didn't have anything else to play with at the time. He was going well at the walk and trot and then the cold weather hit and that was the end of the training. Tuff has such a willing personality that he would not be difficult to finish training under saddle.
Tuff can be used to pasture breed or hand breed, have never had any problems or issues doing either one. He has excellent ground manners and is very good with mares and foals.

Out of a point producing and futurity winning mare and by a Canadian National Champion, Norman has numerous Grands and Reserves and is the 2005 Canadian National Champion Jr Stallion. He has 8.5 Halter Points and was trained for western pleasure at McBurney Quarter Horses. Currently standing in our corral and needs a new home. Here's your opportunity to get a good one. Great looking colt with an unlimited future ahead of him. His full sister has halter points in both open and amateur. His half brother (Norman) was the 2005 Canadian National Champion Jr Stallion. Dam won every halter futurity she was shown in. Very fancy gelding with a friendly and quiet attitude. Take him in any direction you want to go. Maverick has been started with his ground work and is progressing very well. Lunged, ground driven and has been sat on and rode around at a walk.
